XENOM lands in London

Known as the Decathlon of Fitness, XENOM hosts 10 events over two days of competition, bringing athletes from across the world together under one roof. With individual and pairs formats spanning Compete, Rx and Elite divisions, there was plenty going on from the moment the doors opened. And as you’d expect, it wasn’t a weekend for taking it easy.

The XENOM format is built around testing a broad range of fitness in a repeatable, measurable way.
Across the 10 events, athletes were challenged across strength, conditioning, skill and everything you’d
expect to come from CrossFit, with each event contributing to their overall EPI score. The higher the
total, the better the result.
It makes for a pretty compelling weekend of competition, with athletes having to bring something different
to every event. You can’t simply rely on being the strongest or the fastest... XENOM is all about being the
most well rounded athlete.
One of our favourite parts of the weekend was seeing how many of the WIT Community turned up; it was
brilliant to see so many people representing WIT and putting months of training into practice on the
Olympia floor. And they didn’t just turn up... they delivered!!

We had WIT athletes making their way onto the podium across multiple divisions, giving us plenty to cheer about. It gives you a real sense of pride – it’s like watching your family win.

But, we weren’t just there to watch - WIT joined XENOM as the event’s official retail partner, bringing the WIT experience to London Olympia for the weekend and giving the community a chance to get up close
with some of our latest kit.

The day before XENOM, we launched our brand new Aeris line, so XENOM became its first major outing with the community. Designed for movement and built to keep up with training, Aeris was right at home in
an environment where the kit was about to be put through its paces. Seeing athletes, spectators and members of the community trying on the new line, getting a feel for the pieces and chatting to the team reminded us why in-person moments for product are just as important as the online store. Putting apparel into a busy competition environment, surrounded by athletes...? That’s when you really get to see it come
to life. Not to mention our co-branded XENOM collab tees that went down so well we were left with absolutely none to take home.

Something that makes XENOM so fun to be part of is the energy around the whole event. Fitness competitions have a funny way of bringing people together. You can arrive knowing absolutely nobody
and leave having made new friends, and maybe even your next comp partner. That community feeling is a huge part of why we love being involved in events like this, and XENOM had it in abundance.

WIT is proud to have been there as the retail partner, even more proud to have had so many WIT athletes competing and podiuming, and we’re pretty excited that Aeris got to make its competition debut
in the process.
