Hard Graft & Good Vibes.

Charlie Watts. Gym owner. Father. Leader of a movement. A movement where training extends past physical fitness—it complements every aspect of your life.

From the moment Charlie stepped away from his career as a professional MMA fighter, he knew he needed to channel that same energy into something new. With firsthand experience of the grit and dedication it takes to succeed, he wanted to create something beyond the ordinary gym. Something with real purpose.

He envisioned a space where people could come together, work hard, and support one another through the highs and lows. That vision became Manor.

At Manor, the ethos is simple: “Hard Graft and Good Vibes.” And that’s exactly what you get every time you step through the doors. It’s a culture that flows through everyone, from the coaches to the members.

“You’ll be fitter, stronger, and harder to kill!” Charlie often says, with a smile that suggests there’s more beneath the surface. For Charlie, training is honest. It’s no-nonsense. It’s spit, sawdust, and zero gimmicks. Yet, he’ll be the first to admit there’s a deeper layer to it all.

Beyond the car-park laps, sled-drags, and sandbags, it’s about connection. Charlie thrives on it, and has fostered a community that connects people from all walks of life, bonded by their commitment to hard work. It’s not just about physical challenges—it’s about the shared experience, where bonds are formed through sweat, support, and resilience.

“There’s no health without mental health,” Charlie insists, and he lives by it. For him, true wellbeing is the integration of physical, mental, and social health. “They should be one and the same,” he says. And this belief shapes everything at Manor. Every workout, every conversation, every bond formed within the gym reflects this ethos.

“Your people are everything,” he says. At Manor, that’s more than just a motto—it’s the foundation of everything he’s built. The gym is a space where members push each other, support each other, and celebrate each other’s victories.

“There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing your people win.” Watching someone break through their limits, surrounded by friends cheering them on—that’s what Charlie lives for. Manor is more than a gym. It’s a family.

Charlie’s vision doesn’t stop at the gym doors. “I see the fitness industry evolving into spaces where social wellbeing is at the forefront,” he says. His mission is to bring this deeper, more holistic vision of health to everyone. To create a culture of growth and connection. A place where people can work really damn hard, but in a nurturing, supportive environment.

“I want to have a positive impact on as many people as I can.” And that’s exactly what he’s doing—one workout, one person, one community at a time.
