DIALLED-IN

Naomi & Hannah. Coaches. Founders. Teammates on and off the trail.

We caught Naomi and Hannah mid-trail. Fitting. Their friendship, and careers, have been built through training. It’s what shaping a life around fitness actually looks like.

They met a few years back through fitness, and never looked back. Now, Naomi runs Inner Athlete, a women’s training space built on community and confidence. Hannah’s the founder of Oyogo, a global agency connecting elite coaches with luxury experiences.

Here’s how the call went.

Jordan: Hey Hannah.
Hannah: Hey mate.
Jordan: Hey Naomi, how’s it going?
Naomi: Uh, we’re just… we’re just on a trail run.
Jordan: Oh nice. Standard. You two are always together.
Hannah: We are always together.
Jordan: You actually met through fitness, didn’t you?
Naomi: Yeah, three or four years ago.
Hannah: I was looking for coaches and found Naomi.
Naomi: Hannah took me for a coffee and schmoozed me.
Hannah: And we’ve been inseparable ever since.
Jordan: Han, how’s Oyogo going?
Hannah: Yeah, good. It’s been so busy this year.
Jordan: I don’t think you’ve ever actually told me how it started.
Hannah: I used to work in menswear, fashion design. Then seven years ago, I started the agency. Kinda fell into working with hotels.
Naomi: It’s been amazing for us as coaches, to experience coaching all over the world.
Jordan: You’ve definitely built something special.
Jordan: Naomi, tell me about Inner Athlete.
Naomi: I launched it this year. It’s an online programme for women. A safe space. A platform where they can chat, show up to meet-ups. No pressure, no judgement.
Naomi: And that’s the most important thing when you’re trying to learn or build confidence.
Jordan: I feel like you’ve both built your whole lives around training. If you could pass that on to someone else, what would your advice be?
Hannah: It’s all about the journey. One day you’re trail running, one day it’s Pilates, one day it’s handstands. The journey’s personal.
Naomi: For me, it’s waking up and reminding myself how lucky I am to move the way I can.
Jordan: Love that. Alright, I’ll let you two crack on.
Naomi: Bye Jordan.
Hannah: Take care.
Jordan: Cheers. Speak soon.
